You can do it Luke...I don't want you using the pad of the unfinished bike build off to give it away now...you know, if you just would build a simpler bike, you wouldn't need a list that long.

That's not a bike, that's not a trike...that's a feat of engineering genius.....I still can't believe the stuff you do man....you lost me back on page three.....lol...

Luke says he was up until 1 A.M. the other night...he was done working at 11:00...than spent two hours looking at it , stroking his chin and thinking of more ideas for it....huh? am I right?

this is ace.
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I really should do easier builds, this was going to be easier until I decided to try the crazy fabricated frame design!

But no way am I not finishing this 100% at this point!

Had some really windy days lately, but tomorrow or Wednesday is looking good for starting on the paint!

Been working through LED conversion ideas, I have run out of those little puck lights like I used on Pedro, and they don't seem to be available anymore, but I have found some other options that look promising...

Some parts arrived today, I think everything is here now to finish it:

They are Taiwanese Lowrider branded, but there is not many options in white, so I am happy...

Oooh I like those pedals and grips....Man I wish I had the foresight to order some of this stuff earlier online, now I gotta just use whatever grips and tires pedals and stuff that I have laying around
good move

White grips and pedals! Cool addition.

I usually find a lot of things like grips and pedals at local bike store. A couple in town carry a decent selection. Immediate gratification for me. :) to walk away with it in hand.

Ah, but I will know I didn't finish it... ;)

Thanks King! Glad you are liking it!
Good to hear from you too, been too quiet around here without you...
Panels are looking good. This one should really be something. Looking forward to watching the unfinished build off too. Love both those bikes you'll be working on.
Can't wait to get out hammering on Back40! That thing is just pure fun!
Outlaw will definitely be a slow roll cruiser, but it should turn some heads!

Still time left! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

I wish bike stores around here would carry this sort of stuff, closest store that does is 2 hours away from me, that is where I purchased these from though, just had to do it over the net...

I'm not sure that would be a good idea! There are some places of my brain I refuse to go, and I certainly don't want to inflict them on anyone else!

Glad you are enjoying my builds though!

Final test ride today!

Assembled it up to make sure there was no rubbing or resistance from the brakes and took it for a ride, also sat the headlight on there to get an idea of how it will look, I like it!:

10 minutes later it was stripped down and ready for final cleanup before paint:

Then moved on to the wheel covers, drilled and tapped holes in the spokes:

Fitted the covers up with 5mm stainless hex head bolts, both sides done, pretty happy with the results:

I will cut the backing discs another day.

So here is the list as it sits:

Hopefully painting sometime in the next few days!

I have had a couple of people say it needs a bigger light on the front...
What do you fine people think?

Luke.
I'd vote for bigger front light...

...and Chopper top :)

Thinkin around these lines:

 Hmmm, I wonder if there is something I can come up with...

Not much time left though, it might have to be a 'if there is time I will make a bigger head light' kinda deal...

Luke.

Just remembered I still have this pair that did not get used on Pedro:

Would two smallish lights work?

Luke.
Hmmm, maybe?

Maybe the location is wrong?

:21: I'm actually considering this...
