when my son turned 4,he refused to ride his bike anymore. he would ride his sisters big girl bike all day long. once we removed his training wheels, he resumed riding his own again. my parents got him a new bike for christmas, he wouldnt even sit on it untill we took off the training wheels. i agree with the majority here though, learn without the training wheels. i beleive removing the pedals is a good idea also.

Great advice on here. My only input is the younger the better. My 3 yr old pushes on a skateboard, rides with 2 wheels and ain't so bad on the quad he has but needs to remember the brakes :lol:
