I really like the look of these, and the price, but they look too narrow to fit a beach cruiser wheel. They don't specify a fit other than "26 inch"

Serfas Traditional Style Bicycle Fenders

Thanks in advance for the help. I'm looking to dress up my brand new $79 Wal Mart Special (OP Roller with pedal forward crankset)

I don' t think they will. From a review found elsewhere. Second, the fenders are not wide enough for the 1.95 tires that come standard on this bike, there is lots of spill over on the sides during wet weather.

The price is nice though. Wald 962' s will work and they come in chrome or black. They are metal and not plastic though. http://www.google.com/products/catalog? ... GkQ8wIwBA#

On any fender you may have to modify slightly has the brake bridge is fairly low on those OP bikes(like a Electra Townie). Some of the higher end fenders would be more adjustable as the brake bridge anchor is adjustable. http://ecom1.planetbike.com/7057_5.html

Thanks much. I'd like to read the review. Can you post the URL?

I will be replacing the stock tires with 1.5" width tires for better performance around my neighborhood. All my travel will be on sidewalks and paved surfaces, so I'm looking to ease the rolling resistance quite a bit.
