Is it just the angle of the camera or did you flip the sprocket over?

Optical illusion from the shine that the sprocket didn't have before. Look at the right side of the sprocket in the shiny photo and there is less illusion on that side.

Outskirts I can see why you would think that before I started I thought the sprocket was flat till I cleaned it then I could see the indent on it
