I had to do the same thing to my monark spring crown on "gender reassignment" did you make them from scratch or just weld in a section?

Yes the red one is a 24" Sears Spyder.

The Monark fork on the white bike was altered by extending the length of the top plate....in order to make the angle of the legs correct for the longer headtube.

I really dig that white one. And the spyder is nice too, I have a couple myself, but not in as nice condition as yours.

could you tell us over in how too as to how you did the spokes like that? i really dig that but have never been able to figure out the spoke length to do it.

Usually if you add about 5mm to the length of the original spokes it will work.

Get two spokes first and try it before you buy a whole set.
