what year is my bike

hey i have a old columbia 24 inch bike number is n221438 the only serail number match that evan comes close is 1948 model but it has a trace of metallic paint on the bottom of the frame it has a tank and rear rack and 2 inch wide wheels and it is a male bike any one know ?
