Aside from the finest rust $25 could buy... (I wanted it for that saddle)
I really have no clue...

Thanks for all that you guys do. I really like this place.

I have a bike very similar to that and I believe it to be much earlier. Possibly late 30's, mine is a montgumary Ward by sears. It has the same long neck, reverse bolt on the gooseneck, and other similar features. I will post some pics in the next couple days. The bike is up in the rafters and I needed this motivation to get it down...

Hmmm, i picked up the same frame. Looked ugly to me so I cut it up... I like it a bit more now.

That chainring screams Huffy to me as well BUT, with the reardropout screw adjusters and the fact the rear and front rim do not match, im thinking it was a skiptooth to standard conversion. The chainguard, fork crowns and rest of the bike, minus the chainring, don't scream Huffy to me. In fact, the chainring and frame lines make me think late 40's if not early 50's and dare I say a Hawthorne, or perhaps an early Huffman.

Another variation on the gender change.

Tailwinds if you were closer I'd weld it for ya.
