@Endlesschain 500EX Exage derailleurs work great. I like them. That RB-2 I posted earlier has the entire group set.

Not even a full week into the new year and already on the second protest ride and another 43km down.
On the way to the start I just had to make a quick fotostop

The ride was nice, about 55 people despite the cold and bit wet weather

Now I'm waiting in front of the Circus to pick up my kid and ride the S-Bahn home

First ride of the year on the ‘41 Colson with a 2 speed kickback SA. I got up early yesterday to beat the heat and headed to the bay for a total of 42klms. We have had lots of rain downunder the last month or so and another storm is brewing today with up to 200mm of rain forecasted in some areas. Have a great weekend everyone.

Finally got in the first ride of the year between storms. The next ones gonna hit us tonight into tomorrow and again in a couple days. We're gonna be doing some in home maintenance on a few riders for a bit it sounds until that clears up.
Fortunately,.there's always plenty to do..

Got our 1st snow fall in North Central Iowa overnight. The Goblin didn't do to bad. It don't like the loose snow, frontend gets a little squirrelly. But stayed upright the whole ride to work. It got some some sticking to it sitting outside for the last hour. Roads will be plowed for the ride home. But the wind is supposed to get to 25mph with 40mph gusts. Hopefully the wind will be at my back.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I took this on my last ride before vacation.

From Kotor, Montenegro on my vacation. This is a walled fortress town with narrow passageways. No cars can fit in the town, so they use these cargo "bikes". Most of them don't even have their chains anymore.

At 6'5" I was finding the M bars on the Pug a bit too low - looked great, but hit my knees on slow turns. So I put some Schwinn cruiser bars on it - and they lasted one ride. They looked OK too, but it was like riding with your hands in your pockets and they still hit my legs when turning slowly.
So I'm back to some standards alloys. Which are OK - But I'd like something a bit wider - the search for optimum continues.

BDC I join you at 6'5" but have been riding mostly on my recumbent lately. This is an early Ryan Vanguard XL. This bike was built for big and tall. A very comfortable bike on a rainy day in Sacramento California. This location is a City of Sacramento pump station alongside a bike trail and a museum rail line.

That looks like fun!

Some snow on the commute here in Twente, I like it more than rain.

This was at the beginning of the ride. I cycle about 12 to 13 kilometres to get to work.

There is no Bosch motor underneath there! 😉

Wiped the slush off. The bike is nice and dry under a roof.

Now that we're working out of the deep freeze I had a chance to meet a friend to give my newly built Redline Flight Monocog a run at the track. But my phone died as I tried taking a snapshot so here it is in anticipation after I did the brake again & pulled the handlebar back a bit.

Very solid, light & snappy! Feels like a BMX bike and great all arounder & right at 23 pounds. Drag racing, BMX race, pump track, skate park, goof around all day finding stuff to jump. It's game!! It's going to be fun spending more time on it to see what it can do & can't wait to get some more time with my new little buddy.🤓
