Skip tooth looks great on that frame, such a neat juxtaposition with the Nexus. Really nice beach shot. I'm soaking up that sun
Thanks Matti. Keep you warm mate with a few more pics soon. Its been quite toasty and humid over here this week. Have a good weekend.

Is that a "Pixie" chain ring? That's a nice touch. I've been wanting to do that to one of my bikes!
Thanks, it’s a Schwinn Stingray chainring 36t. I’ve found that 36t (with 20 t in back) is as big as this old man’s knees will handle for 20-30 mi on gravel with SS , and I don’t walk up hills.

I think I finally worked out how to gear a 3 speed correctly. I matched the gearing of 2nd gear to that of my favorite single speed bike. I now have 2 very usable gears in 1st and 2nd with 3rd being a long overdrive. The front sprocket I left at 44t but dropped 2 teeth on the rear sprocket to a 17t.

Early morning ride to the bay before work to beat the heat. The scenery is so beautiful in the morning and I ain’t talking about the beach! This candy colored beast is so comfortable with the ape hanger but also fast with a nexus 4 speed out back. Will be putting more miles on this one from now on.

I went for a ride up to a park with the family while my daughter was in town to bounce some balls around. We were all on different builds that I had made.
while putting the bikes in the rack a guy on an old cruiser looked at Fixed Pain, and asked “how many bikes is that”. Lol.
I had to think but said four.

Rode this ’80 Schwinn Cruiser after going through it for a friend. It hadn’t been ridden in a long time but like most old USA steel, it rides great now after some TLC, a few new parts and fresh grease.View attachment 184677
