Cruisin the neighborhood on my ‘65 Schwinn Stingray “shorty”

I rode my (unfinished) Huffy Dragster muscle bike today. I’m going to have to slightly dimple the frame at the narrowest points of the rear fork just a touch for the fat rear tire, but otherwise it rides great.

I’m really happy with the way this one is turning out!

Very cool. I was checking out your build thread and I can't wait to see this with the banana seat. The big'n'little tire sizing on this is perfect. Do you have plans for the guard?

Just picked up this cruiser this morning on marketplace for $50. Pretty stoked.

Nice. I remember reading somewhere here on RRB that those tires were only available on that bike; I have been keeping an eye out on Craigslist and FB Marketplace for them for that reason.

Thanks! I am going to try to buff the the Escape graphics off the factory guard and I’m going with Huffy Dragster decals. You can buy the the decals pictured below, but I’m going to try to have “XL” decals made in the same font to have “Dragster XL” since I’m shooting for a 26” version of the 60’s 20” Dragster.

Gravel ride yesterday on the home built beater. The lakes opened up the last day of April so I had to check it out. Heard loons, saw 7 trumpeter swans and two wood ducks. I’m training for Hiawatha’s Revenge gravel ride the last Saturday in May.

Size and model of tires please!
Maxxis 26 x 1.90. Dunno if WormDrive is the model?

I LOVE the orange line, but the knobs on the sidewalls are causing a rub issue with my not-so-straight rear wheel. The plan at the moment is to upgrade the wheels anyway, so we will have to see if the tires stay.

Yeah this is no bueno

We took out my Huffy 26” Muscle bike build, the “new” Rollfast and the JC Higgins today.

The banana seat on the Huffy is very comfy. It rides nice with that big ol’ rear tire. My son LOVES this bike! He rode it more than I did.:)

This was the first time we have ever ridden the Rollfast. It rides very nice and very smooth. Everything is nice tight and and feels new. This was obviously not a very frequently used bike.

All three are sweet rides!!

Build-off bike. Whacked this together with stuff I had around here and rode it around the block. Now to spend the next 4 months upgrading virtually everything on it.

The nice thing about whacking something together with parts that you have laying around is......you know where all your parts are in one great location! Ride on!

Just took Interrobang around the neighborhood (there's a crane taking off the remain of the roof of the neighbor's burned out house. I didn't take a picture because it seems ghoulish to me) and thought I'd see what it looked like as a lawn ornament. It's a shame these daffodils don't look good for very long.

Cleaned up VerBoten and took it for a ride for the first time in a couple of years. I still love this bike.

Almost exclusively for fun purposes, except when riding dirt. I've been exploring the neighborhoods in my burg on it a bunch. It's been at over 30, according to a radar sign on a hill and is stable at speed. It's the first build I did for myself in about six years and is getting used.
