I picked this up off Craigslist. It's difficult to find anything reasonably priced here in California.

I am not sure of the year, my guess would be mid fifties, someone here may have a better idea. Sticker on fender says 75th anniversary, but first year missing.

Replaced missing headset race, aired tires and took her for a spin. Brakes are pretty weak, but I will take care of those when I go through the hubs.

If someone can help me out with the year it may help me find the right chain guard. Serial number R588502

This is my 57 Columbia. What's up with people tossing chain guards? Mines missing it also!!

its possible that your model did not come with a chainguard.

I've got a 57 as well, missing.the guard too. And mine is a bit cobbled together. Rides like a cloud though.
