New to the site and was recently given this bike. Am interested in learning if anyone can confirm my research. I think it's a 1937. Any additional information is appreciated. Have included pics. The serial #is N320646, has marrow hub with E4. Thanks!

That's a heck of a present! Shelby built I think. Has most of a Delta Silver Ray which is like gold. Its in great shape, just give it a nice cleaning, maybe a polish and enjoy. Is the chainguard cut through from the chain?

Thanks for the info and the welcome! My first foray into forums too! Yes, the chainguard is cut from chain.

Welcome. It is a Shelby built bike. As far as I know, no ones decoded their serial numbers yet. Your Morrow hub dates from the 4th quarter of 1935, so your bike is probably from early 36. Your bikes details are consistent with that.

Yup strip it down clean it all up re grease everything go get your self a can of boiled linseed oil and a clean cloth rub the whole bike down with it. As far as the front light is concerned leave it alone as stated they are rare and that in that condition is awesome looking. Just get him rooling and then see what ya what to do .
