Can anybody help narrow down the year on this bike? Sn is 28125 on the bottom of the BB housing. I haven't had it apart yet to look for dates on the crank or the neck yet.

Agree, I'd figure 46-48 maybe.

I've got it on the stand soaking in pb blaster. The neck is a little stuck. Hopefully when I get it out it will have a date on it. The crank should too.

Looks like the stem and bars were painted, that and rust always hinder stem removal.

Someone painted EVERYTHING on this poor bike. I'm gonna need gallons of goof-off!
