Found this Columbia Ladies on CList today. :D I'm guessing 1925 as the serial number begins with C,unfortunately the headbadge is missing. :(

Its missing a pedal and the grips but I do have the dropstand. I believe the frame has been repainted although the decal on the seat tube looks original. Not too sure about the one on the downtube.

The seat is in very good condition.

I could be wrong but... that chain gaurd leads me to believe thats an Elgin.
nice bike either way

That style guard was pretty common through the teens, twenties and into the early thirties. I have one on a Schwinn. That Columbia decal on the downtube definitely looks original so I'd say that's a pretty safe conclusion. The chainring looks pretty classic Pope/Columbia too.
