I know there are a lot of VW fans on here, so I thought I'd share this photo. I took this around 1998-2000 somewhere around Jacksonville, NC. I use to pass it on the way to Carolina Beach all the time and loved the bus, never went into the bike shop. haha

Interesting now to look, that seems like "pre-fixie" times so I guess the bike in the window was just a track bike.

The front had 2 racing seats in it, the back had a raised floor with old rotten carpet. The windows were always down.

It's still there. I don't think they drive it. It just sits there as advertising.

The HED wheels (aerodynamic road and track) distributor in England has a real nice wrong hand drive VW van of about the same vintage all set up to display wheels.
