Uploading avatar from iPad

How do you doit? I have flicker and I try to use the link.but it says the URL is invalid?

I was able to put my avatar on w/ out using a hosting site.
I just made sure it was small enuf and tried strait from comp and it worked.
Try it, ya neva know.
