New to the vintage cruiser scene with my newly acquired1971 Schwinn Typhoon that I just bought from Craigslist.

What brand is stamped on the gold anodized wheel set?

The wheels are stamped Araya

green and gold is one of the best color combo of course right after black and red

Gave the Typhoon a new paint job. Wanted to stay with green and found this Krylon spray bomb I liked. I tryed to paint it like "Rollfast Conspiracy"
http://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=655 with regular paint instead of candy. I primed it, then sprayed with silver glitter hobby spray paint then with this Krylon Hosta Leaf Green. The glitter pretty much was covered with the paint, but I still like the way it came out. I still need to order some decals and 2 new tires to finish it off.

Looking good, I really like the knobby on the back too. The grey and gold look great together
