June Saturdays mean gargage sales and so far I have found three good bikes. Total spent... $27 bucks.
First up is a 80's-ish Murray Monteray in great condition. Even had the manual and the city bike registration. Prepare to be ratified... flat grey color with brass knuckles on the head tube.
Then today I found a couple of bikes marked $5 each, got them both for $7... Old school Team Murray BMX dirt bike... not sure what I am going to do with this one...
And the piece-du-resistance... a kids size vintage schwinn bannana seat bike. Tires are in great shape, hold air, seat is also in great shape. Really, the only thing that isn't purely cosmetic is a slightly bent seat hoop. This one will be fun to tear down and rebuild into a little girls cruiser for my niece...
