a while back i was working at streetbeat messing with airride parts for cars and in extra time fabbed up a few air ride kits for bikes

cost about 40$ each depending on what cylinder i found, streetbeat had a box of dead apc fire extusighers 12$ each

This one was a parts build i wanted to try a custom paint job, and a different frame then normal, air ride did not do much for the lowering but it was fun riding it

the fire tank fill 150psi get about 20 or more hits action does not slow down till lower psi on air
 
Very cool! So as I understood it. You just had some spares and put this together? Wow that looks good on the fly!
 
i did not get off a website i have gone to junk shops and truck stops

look for the cylinders that they use under the seat on semi trucks

Humm.. my uncle drives a semi, guess ive gotta hit him up.

are you just useing the fire extinguisher as the "solenoid"
 
the fire tank jus holds air you have to add a manual switch and cut into the line if you want fast action while riding
 
If you blocked off the bottom bracket and
head tube (internally), you could pressurize your
frame and lose the bottle.

4X4 guys do it with their roll bars.
I've seen a few bagged rods do it with their frames.
I wouldn't wanna seal an entire car frame air tight, but
you get the idea?
