I went to a flea market and found this bike. I beleive it is a columbia bike but am not sure. It has four layers of paint on it. am not sure what would have been the origional color. the headlight still has the lense but is missing the inside. not sure what year it is. hope I did the pics correctly.

Chain guard screams Columbia and the head badge looks correct, Could be one of a bunch of models in the 5 star lineup but with the truss rod setup and no springer I'd think 1956-1957 newsboy special but I am by no means an expert. You can find more info here:

thanks. the key is broke off in the lock. how hard is it to find parts for this bike. now trying to determine if it was red or if it was the black, white and third color. the four colors that I found on it as I was stripping the finders were black,red, white and a light blue.
