Ok guys and gals, I am looking for some ideas on mounting a headlight to a triple tree, I like the idea of a clamp on (to the downtubes) with the light attached at the sides.. if you got somthing cool please share it, and if it was store bought where you found it.. thanks!!

This is a light from one of those pocket type mini choppers, that's been converted to led.
To mount it I used a star fangled nut set into the bottom of the steer tube and used a couple washers and a stem bolt. And a mount from a soma torpedo light that was extra.
This fork is inch and an eighth, but most bike shops should have one inch available.

Hope that helps in your project .

On this one I've used Electra torpedo lights ,and two band clamps that have the rubber - often used for mounting racks on bikes without braze on mounts - again I found these at a local lbs- they specialize in city/commuter/ cargo type bikes .
