We answered a newspaper ad and bought this one for my wife.
$40, and the tires even held air.
Trying to convince her to let me do anything to her precious is tough, but...........

A different seat, pedals, grips and a general polishing......

What's that thing on front?

The front headlight is converted to a tribal mask!

More to come.......

No, if they had worked, I couldn'y have gotten her to let me make the mask!

Now I'm trying to talk her into letting me cover the bike in aborigiinal pyroglyphics or dot painting. I plan to top it off with an umbrella suspended on a large hoop coming off the back of the frame.

looks cool! Wrap the frame from the seat tube down in some hemp/jute rope!! Then in case of emergency youd have some...rope

Xavier, Go down to your local hardwere and buy two of those small bright flashlights and put them in the mask eyes. Red lens for that extra cool look.

Ok, the Tribal Bike is finished, for now..... I used Testor's model paint to paint aboriginal dot painting on it to keep with the tribal theme.

The monkey's eyes light up red, so I don't think I will need to do that with the mask. I'm still considering the umbrella to top it all off.
