Alright, it was time to get this machine back on the road. Neighbor down the street sold me a mid '80s Huffy womens 3spd for 5 bucks. Now I have enough parts to restore the hand brakes, update the gearing, and some decent grips and bars.
Heres the starting point.

And now in pieces.

Had to put in some new cups.

I think this is a Murray sprocket, so much for full OEM resto, but that's not what this bike is intended for. Note gashes made from a chainguard.

Rim on new rear wheel was junk. Luckly I had another hoop laying around, here's my transfer method.

And heres the finished product.

Bike is a darn fine rider, but seat is like straddling a fence.

Yeah, that's an AMF only sprocket. I thought the one that was on the RS was kinda neat, just a lil small for that bike... ~Adam
