Been tracking this bike since spring. The fact hes commuting daily on it leads me to believe im one of a handfull of antique bike enthusiasts in this town.

finally caught up with the guy. "All original". Original schwinn seat. Original weld boogers all over the bb. Original reflector on the mismatched front wheel....

acording to him, hes passed on a 400 dollar bill, but he will trade for an all original coaster brake jc higgins with tank and horn, in red. Or motorized coaster brake prewar skiptooth twin bar with fenders........ uggh.

Its a pretty straight foward monark silverking rocket. Og fenders, paint, stem, bars, chainguard, rear rack with crap repaire welds. Rear wheel has giant spokes, smooth rim. Front is square stepped. Seat is SA. Tires are bontregor. He welded a beer holder onto the og stem, grips are replacements.....

Rear hub is bendix. That seem right? Ive never seen anything quite like the rear rim. looks like it was made by a blacksmith the chromed.
