We just got back from South Dakota for a family reunion. While we were there, we swung by Sturgis to check things out. The ralley hasn't started yet, so it was nice and tame for my wife and kids. We stopped by the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame.

They had lots of cool bikes. This one is a Flying Merkel.
This Dayton had a cool front mounted engine.
This 1999 Excelsior-Henderson was still in the crate, so it was hard to get a good picture of it. It has a HUGE by WIDE Beefy front fork on it.
These last pictures are of my favorite bike, a 1934 Crocker Speedway Racer. I love how low it is, the stance, the wheels, the cast aluminum tank and the front forks. I've been thinking about how I can engineer a similar set of forks.
