Thanks! The fork is one the builder got off ebay. I have seen them a couple times, but they seem 'rarish'. Aftermarket? Chrome finish over not very polished solid steel.

Man, your killin' me with that stuff. :? Can't you hear your bike screaming?! "GEARS! GEARS! Gimme gears, c'mon, I want to really fly!

P.S. Niiiice. 8)

Cool bike! What size rim/tire combo are you running? I like the road-ish look you've got going on, a black Brooks saddle would look sick! 8)

it says 700x32C on the tires....
the bike originally came with 26" wheels so i was quite surprised the 700 fit. thanks for the tip on the seat!

Hello,

Deorman requested to post my 'Liner from the RRBOff6.

I've got a few other bikes so I hope they qualify too.
I like to put thinner tires on to get a easy rolling ride and usually a little less weight.
Here's Hot Rod 'Liner with 28mm front and 32mm rear on this particular setup:

This is my "training" or exercise bike, Trek 21" seat tube Aluminum frame.
It's geared at 38/14 with Tioga City Slickers (my favorite tire)--1.25" up front and 1.5" in the rear.
When I bought this bike it was 36 lbs. Now it's at ~24 lbs.

Hopefully this one qualifies with some 1.5" cyclocross tires on it.

This is the wife's bike, early 70's Hawthorne by Hercules.
Same setup as the Trek for tires. She loves the way it rolls.
24.5 lbs with all steel frame and components (except alloy rims)

One more with some 1.5" red walls. My wife set this one up.

I'm enjoying everybody else's bikes on this thread.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one.
