Stingray 2

I bought a Stingray off ebay. It arrived sat. and man it looked smaller than even a Stingray does. Took it to the Schwinn shop and they said a Stingray 2 was a smaller model than a reg. stingray. He measured the top tube and showed me it was 1" shorter, whole thing seems small.
Oh well I have my S cruiser set up and it looks like a big stingray, guess at 50, 5 11 and 205 you cant go back. I guess it will go on craigslist , if I cant have any help from seller.

What year is it?

I beleive the early '63-4 Stingrays were called Stingray Jr.

They were smaller/shorter than the later Stingrays

I didnt know the late '70's Stingrays were smaller than the rest.

Im no Stingray expert...but the more I look at it, it does look kinda smallish.


I guess I just learned something.

I may be totally wrong, its just what the Schwinn guy said . But they kinda are collectors as well as shop owners . Bowling / Bay area schwinn

The title of the ebay auction indicates it is a Stingray II. I don't see where the seller would be at fault.
