and it's a little shiny & sparkly now...so something similarly shiny & sparkly in a decal would be preferable...

Go to a sign company that applies advertisements to the back windows of pick-up trucks...I'm sure they're in your yellow pages under "signs" or "truck lettering". You probably should have taken the parts before painting, but they can plot the designs out and cut them out of vinyl... like these fenders.

Someone else here did their whole bike, but I can't find the thread right now.
