My name is Laurens, I am new here. I am from Holland and 22 years old. Vintage bikes are hard to find here and info about these bikes too.

Today I bought myself an old bike but I'm not sure what I bought..

Any thoughts?

im starting to think its a shelby though due to the frame, they had some deep fenders too

30's Shelby frame and sprocket....deep McCauley fenders used on Shelbys, Monarks, Daytons....Nice find!

Thanks for the replies guys! I am glad I finally know what kind of bike I've got, probably a Shelby Flying Cloud, and I am glad I probably didn't pay too much..

I bought it at an oldtimer 'show' called Vehikel, instantly fell in love with it...

The "upside-down" stem is a Wald #3 stem, probably their most popular prewar model.
