It isn't custom or ratty but it was reasonably priced and good shape. I put the repop rack on it to balance it a bit. I tried to insulate the fenders too so they wouldn't rattle. I found out Bontrager H2 26x1.50 are exactly the same width as the 26X1.75 that were on it. They fit really well under the fenders. I went through the BB and I'll go through the hub this summer. I love the twin top tubes. A bit heavy for her but it has the classic look. Maybe I'll re-gear it easier.

I sure like the bikes in this thread.

Here's my 46 or 47 Murray built. Most likely a Higgins, but missing the original badge. Someone put a Hawthorne badge on there at some point in the past.

Now it's a complete mix of old and new parts.

I really like this bike with the fenders wraping around low like that.
That I could ride all day long.
