Shipping big handlebars???

Need some advice on the best method of packing, They're 27" wide. I thought about wrapping with bubble and cardboard. thanx for Your wisdom..

Ask at the USPS, you may be able to bubble and paper wrap just around the bars without making it a whole 'package'.

that is fine ..what i have done when shipping stuff that wont fit a box ...just wrap the heck out of it with plastic wrap ..some bubble wrap more plastic wrap n ship it !!!! u can use cardboard if ya like ...i always wrap it in plastic wrap last just incase it gets wet ....

I usually put some junk grips on or something similiar and wrap in shrink wrap, never had a problem.

Thanx I hate to waste a good cardboard box! Nice to know what is acceptable to most folk. USPS gets most of my biz, But I dont ship too many complete bikes. Thanx again
