schwinn year

i posted yesterday about my schwinn bike with serial number c92592. i pulled out the crank today and all it says is WALD.
i'm sure its a schwinn because the badge on front says Arnold schwinn &co new world chicago. this badge has no color on it. Any ideas

Probably a replacement crank

thats my guess. is there any other way to id the year of it without the crank and if my bb serial number isnt listed on the charts?

You need to post a pic of the frame. If it's a post war frame, your number would put it between '46 and '48. If it's a prewar frame with chain adjustors at the rear dropouts like motorcycles have then it's made sometime before 1941. Gary
