Schwinn ID

This 24 " Schwinn was in my barn find pile the name is worn off the chain guard anybody know what model? I assume those aren't the stock bars.

Determining a model will be tough since so many bikes used the same frame. Painted fenders narrow it though. Probably mid-60s. It looks like somebody took the bars stem and fork from a 70s Murray motocross bike.

Agree. The girls version of the Typhoon. Typhoons and Hollywoods were belly button bikes...everybody had one. Gary

It's got a 2 speed Bendix kickback hub, probably an early 60's bike.
