I just got a Schwinn Heavy Duti and I am trying to decipher the serial number

On the bottom bracket it reads: SNTCA06J00219

From what I can tell, it MAY be a japanese made bike from September 1976, but the plethora of letters at the front has me confused.

Anyone able to clarify?

2001

1981 was the last time they were made like this in the catalogs

between 81 and 2000 I can't find much mention of them, they used the later style frames on the supreme cruisers before using the heavy duti name again though,

Thanks - it was quite a revelation to find the 1 1/8" steerer. I was planning my build based on 1" and its limitations. I'd also bought a 1" bmx stem.

Now I am rethinking everything down to the color I'd settled on with the powdercoater...
