Can someone please slap me and tell me that this isn't a vintage Troxel springer polo on a local bike for $25 bucks? Pics aren't the greatest, but the saddle appears to be white vinyl w/ silver piping and a small round reflector affixed at the rear. To my eye, it's the proper 'surfboard' shape that early seats had. Bike itself is badged as Atkins, but is obviously a Murray product of the 1960s. Opinions?

Murray bike from Atkins hardware store? With that tank it could be late 50's to late 60's. That bike didn't come that way, it's a conversion from a regular bike. That was done quite a bit back then. It sure looks like a polo seat with springs. Speedometer might be good.
Only one way to find out!:bigboss:
