Hi,

I've decided to coat my wooden saddle with old leather and add a few studs, any tips?? do I use glue or tacks?

That looks like a cool bike, I want more pictures!
I would glue leather to the wood, then when the glue was dry, stretch the edges under the seat and staple them. Are you going to put any padding on? You could also just glue on buttock patches, leaving the wood exposed, I plan on doing that to a metal seat pan I have.

It's actually really comfy without padding, good tip to glue the middle, that will help when I come to put the studs in.

I think I've posted it here once before, the saddles an old skateboard. Here she is, Old No. 7, a cliché I know but it just so happens to be the 7th bike I own, completely free as my wife picked it up from someone who was ditching it. I want to get some proper metal full fenders for it, make a small gusset board to sit by the headtube, add a rear rack and some old leather panniers.
