rohloff 14 spd internal hub

is anyone pushing one of theres around.. or have you any wheel time on one.. seems like a 14 speed interal hub would
be big fun. have one 8 speed and one 7 speed nexus.. but thinking about trying this one out

i have tried one, i think highly of it, but it is way out of my pricerange, i actually changed alot of my 7-8-9 internal gear to 3 speed
much lighter, easier to work with, and not as noisy ( the rolhoff isent that noisy though ) - noisewise the sram imotion9 is the worst i´ve tried, thats just ridiculously loud in the high gears..

This guy, Cass Gilbert, has ridden all 'round the world. Some of it on Rohloff hubs. I think they are bomb proof. I bet they are hard to work on though, or at least very complicated.

cool thanks... i was thinking a fat sand bike with this hub .. and a basman style frame.. now i just have to get uncle stretch
to build me a frame...
