rides well , looks ratty

I've had an old Huffy Impalla in my "collection" for several years.Yes, Impalla is spelled with two l's, unlike a Chevy Impala. I decided ,the other day, to do something with it. I put a pair of tires on it that I had recently removed from another project , with new rim strips and new tubes.Today,I put on a new chain . I rode it for the first time and am amazed at how well it rides. :!: :!: :!:

The bike was originally red with white stripes and had white rims with red stripes.

I plan to check all the bearings and rebuild the rear hub leaving the rest as-is for now, and ride it.
