Have any of you guys bought one of the retro Lincoln skip tooth sprockets? Advertised to fit the later model Shimano. Looks to be laser cut. Mine appears to be so poorly cut that it will take a lot of filling to get it fit to anything. Am I just unlucky or is this quality common?
 
Grind off every other tooth on an even number tooth 1/2'" cog.

A 1" pitch Skip Link chain will work with it.

A Skip is wider than the teeth on the cog but it works.

I never did it myself but my buddy did on an old Columbia with a Dremmel Tool.He did a nice job on the grinding (Looked Perfect)



I rode that bike and had NO PROBLEMS no matter how hard I beat on it.
