I wanted to remove the anodizing on the linkage of my Girvin fork. A quick search here said use oven cleaner. Looked through the wife's cleaning cabinet and no oven cleaner. I did a google search and found Greased Lightning cleaner could be used, another trip to the wife's cleaning cabinet and I was in business.

Well to my surprise, about 10 minutes and a quick rinse and no more color.

I still need to polish and clear coat it.

I have used that on a lot of aluminum rc parts. Oven cleaner works real well also but if you forget your parts you will be left with nothing.
