Picked up this Colson Evans frame from ASBoltnut.

I wasn't sure what I was going to build, I knew I wanted some sort of gearing to make this a rider. Single speeds can be a little limiting. Then I found this Girvin fork and looks like I will be building a Klunker/Bomber/Cal/BMX Cruiser (not sure what to call it yet).

I stripped the frame and filled in the holes for the rack and fenders.

A little body work and cleaned up the spot welds at the dropouts.

Had these drop centers and picked up a shimano 3-speed

A quick polish on the Girvins and it looks like they will be real nice.

Some parts painted

Trying out a color combination, I am not too sure if I will go with this.

Also have these kneesaver 2 bars, and redline pedals. Will have to mock up and see how they look. I may have to find some better bars.

Love the colors and parts. Great looking start. Are you going to integrate the Girvin legs with the fork you painted????

I am just painting the original fork to match. I dont plan on using it but want to have it match in case I want to switch it up later.

RASPBERRY CHEESECAKE Mock-up

I laced the front wheel and I am waiting on a three speed I ordered from the Electra sale for the rear

I installed the Girvin and bars.

I'm not sure if the kneesaver bars are right for this. Will have to see when it's all together.

how did you get that handle bar on the Girven?

The stem on this Girvin is steel. I was able to carefully open the jaws (I used a drift in the front hole) far enough to install the bars from the bottom.

Re: RASPBERRY CHEESECAKE mock-up
