Rapido?

Here's the 20" bike that was given to my little sister in the late 80's. I have it now and don't know what I should do with it. The "head badge" is a sticker. It says "Rapido." My feeling is that it's a department store bike. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

they make fantastic low riders!

i fell in love with the chainguard and it inspired the build. it reminds me of an old 1950's /60's locomotive you'd see in an old superman comic.

low end bikes, real thin cheap steel. the rims where also of very poor quality. they where also spot welded in such a way, you could still see the majority of the split in the rim (like the welder missed its mark)

ended up re welding the rear stays/drop outs.
