My 7 years old daughters old bike got a bit small for her... and she was kinda bummed that all her classmates got a bigger kids bikes (20")
And there was a little teasing about that. So I told her that next spring she would going to have the Coolest cruiserbike in the neighbourhood.
So I started to looking for a cheap bike for a base of this build....
And here it is:
Fully functional Hello Kitty bike... But ugly!
So I asked my daughter her opinions about color scheme etc. and so far we know that bike is going to be turquoise with white details.
first step in this build was to strip the bike to parts.
And chop that rear rack off that was welded to the frame.
Here we are now:
First set of parts is on it's way...
20x2.125 whitewall tires, innertubes, rimtapes and white chains.
Still to come: White seat, white pedals, white grips, chaincover, rear and front lights...
