I have my Felt cruiser and have 2.5" x 24" rims with Fatti-o 3" tires.

While I love the look the bike does not ride too well and has less than stellar handling so I am looking at switching to 26" wheels.

My question is can I fit 26" rims with a 2.25-2.35" tire on the bike, anyone done this? I think it will fit but looking for some sort of confirmation before ordering everything online.

Cheers

Well everyone else is going to the 24 x 3" so I will bet, you can do it! If you want les rollinng resistance pump up your tires, hard!

Measure yr frame and fork 11" from where the axle sits. If you've got 2.75" side to side and 2.5" over, you're probably good. Invest in some Fat Franks.... best cruiser tire around.

That is what I thought. Went down and took the wheel off my wife's cruiser (has 26" wheels) and it fits no problem on mine so question answered.

Thanks for the tips.

Cheers
