Quick answer please...Nexus hub...about to order

I am about to order a Nexus 8 speed hub and want to know if the Alfine trigger shifter can be used instead of the grip shifter?

Have the trigger on my communter bike and like it more than the grip.

Both are 8 speed so I can't see why not but would like confirmation.

Your assumption is correct this time. Nexus-8 and Alfine-8 twist and Rapidfire shifters are functionally equivalent.
