i have a few bikes im thinking about craig's-listing, is CL a good venue to sell low cost customised bicycles? any advice for someone who's never craigslisted before?
and by the way...i mispelled craigs list in my google bar and it sent me to a list of porn so be careful of that!!!
fast eddie outty

lol I had that pop up before too. After that 'incident', I never tried to get in CraigsList for about a year later because I was scared I'd get to the porn site again. CraigsList is great. There's not too much advice to give, just make sure you know what you're getting and how much it's worth. Sometimes I seen bicycle adds that say, "Bike for Sale" I click on it, and it says, "I have a bike for sale, $25." That drives me nuts when people don't be specific and don't include a picture.

yup, pic and price are a must IMO, plus then you dont get a ton of questions or worse - passed up because your listing didnt say.

Post the pics from your Photobucket account. as they will show up bigger.

Make sure to list your preferred form of payment(cash ) Beware of email that want you to ship or cash money orders larger than the purchase price.

Look here if you have any questions of scams http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams.html

PICS, PICS, PICS! ...I've posted cars, boats, motorcycles, and bicycles on CL. Just make your adds in the MANNER in which attracts YOU to an add!......Word to the wise......A lot of "deamers" out there, just treat everybody like a perspective buyer, because you never know whos' got the "money"! GOOD LUCK! :D
