Project Black bike near completion, wad U think!

Heres the before and in-progress black bike build-up, I really like it so far. Chrome Spaceliner fork (adding chrome trusses), 1950's colors of black N rose, dug out an old star cut sprocket I had. Of course I mounted my new red tires on nice chrome rims! :wink:

Oh man i dont wanna sound like a jerk but the red tires dont go with the PINK high lites. Just my 2 cents

Pink is dirived from the color red, I think they look compatitable, I'll raise you 2 cents, heres the current state stil needing a chain. I'm looking for a pink chain, any leads?

So what color tire should I use with my ROSE accented color scheme, white,cream oh! I know BLACKzzzzzzzzzz..... :roll:. It's not as PINK as you might THINK, ....it's almost Salmon :lol:

It's WATERMELON!.................Use any tire you want......But GREEN goes with watermelon.

I almost went with yellow for the scallops, I decided on the lighter shade of red you see in the pictures

How about white tires? They make straight, pure white tires in the same tread pattern, sidewall and size as your red tires- those would make the grips stand out nicely, then you could almost do a really nice '50's white seat...

Looks great! I love the color choice for the frame.

Speed2x thats a nice photo chop, cream tires wouldn't grab as well as a white set. My sweetheart of a wife who works in a flower shoppe HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYBODY sez people order red & pink roses together alot. I need to find those people and hang out . I wanted a 1950's paint combo, I had a 1957 Rambler car in High School with a brown & pink factory paint. I almost painted this bike those colors, but started this project as my black bike bit.

I do like the current colors very much. I still think that white tires an a white seat could also look nice- these are the tires I was thinking of in my earlier reply.
