Painting saddle springs Q

What do you guys use, or more pointedly what has worked?

ive used ppgs dplf 90 epoxy primer followed by some dbu black basecoat and the topped off with their omni clear(mc 280)* i think thats the numbers*..
let the clear sit for a week and put it all together. (their cheap clears dry super hard in about 7 days or so)

not as of yet but its only been about 2 mnths and only mounted for about 3 weeks*if i have any probs. ill let you know*
