Paint or Decal??

My strato flyer (as well as a lot of spaceliners) have some sort of metallic paint or decal on the end of the fork. The ones on my bike are scratched up pretty bad. Has anybody repainted/decaled this?

you sure they aren't chrome forks with the top 3/4 painted over??

Well the fork is chrome, the whole bike is chrome. But at the tips of the fork it has this metallic blue color. I'll have to post some pictures later tonight.

They were painted originally. you should be able to find a good match at you local auto parts store. if it's the candy red one, then the Krylon X metals red should be a close match.

It's a blue color. But I'm sure I can find the paint that will match. Thanks guys.
