recently got a winter deal on a little Suzuki TU250x street bike, but in true RRB fashion, I can't post many photos until I've finished some minor "just for fun" details.....

my machinist buddy Ramon, who normally makes aluminum klunker seatposts for me turned down the bar end weights to accept some mirrors that DON'T look like they came off an adult trike in a retirement community....

I hope you know none of those after the two Tomos and Motobecane are mopeds, right?

Yeah they are scooters. I know I called the one a moped. Ooops. The Yamaha QT50 and Honda Express 2 and one of the Tomos are No-peds. And the Indian, one of the Tomos, and Motobecayne were true mopeds.

Man, you pplz have some nice stuff there. Quite the opposite from the rubbish I have. My motorbikes are strictly built from stuff others tossed out.

That's what it's all about. Most of the ones I've had were the same way. Some of them I found entirely complete and thrown out. For example that blue scooter in the snow I had given to me WITH TITLE! The guy said he got sick of putting money into it and he had to put a new drive belt, new tires, carb cleaned, valves adjusted, and then the final straw someone vandalized it by slicing the seat. He was pushing it to the curb and I caught him.

The Rupp minibike was a trash find, The Honda Spree was a $20 yard sale find, and The Redneck Razz was built from leftover parts. Also had a '85 Chevy Blazer I got for $200 that wasn't running and was a super stupid fix. The plug for the distributor was broken so he had wrapped the wire around a drywall screw. Tightened the screw and drove it home. Sometimes knowing how to work on stuff pays off.

Also paid $600 for this beauty all it needed was a fuel pump.

That Rupp, man. People killed for less...
Really? I wish I'd have known that sooner, I think I sold it in the same condition for like $50.

Well, I finally finished a bit of 'personalizing' on the little TU250x...
